<p>The sporty front fascia of the new Corolla has attitude, and the standard Bi-LED headlights are not only attractive, but use less energy than standard lights.</p> <p>Six trims are featured with this sedan: L, LE, LE Eco, XLE, SE, and XSE. The base L trim already has much to offer, featuring Bi-LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and power remote-folding mirrors. The LE trim adds heated outside mirrors and 16-inch wheels, whereas the LE Eco trim presents a rear lip spoiler. A moonroof and multi-LED headlights are featured with the XLE trim, whereas the SE trim will give you a chrome-tipped exhaust and 17-inch alloy wheels. The XSE trim also boasts 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome-tipped exhaust, and a moonroof.</p>

The standard engine of the 2019 Corolla is a 1.8-liter l-4 engine, paired to a continuously variable transmission with shift mode, which generates 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. The LE Eco trim utilizes a 140 horsepower version of the same engine, which means that it is more fuel efficient. Available on the SE trim is also a six-speed manual transmission.

<p>Not only will the aerodynamic design of this sedan give you a comfortable and fuel-efficient ride, but Corolla's CVTi-S Valvematic technology also ensures a smooth ride, more control, as well as increased fuel efficiency.</p> <p>Different driving modes are available in selected trims: the available Eco driving mode in the LE Eco model will control gas output and also regulate the air conditioning in order to increase fuel efficiency. The XSE trim offers a leather-trimmed steering wheel with paddle shifters and audio.</p>

The safety features of this car are impressive and offered across all trims. Standard features include a tire pressure monitoring system, eight air bags, cruise control, and hill start assist. The Toyota Safety Sense package is also included in all trims, and features systems such as pre-collision with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise control.
