2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid

The 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid has one trim level, the LE, which comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, high-grade LED headlights with LED accent lights, and heated side mirrors. There are seven exterior colors to choose from for your hybrid: Barcelona Red Metallic, Black Sand Pearl, Blizzard Pearl, Blueprint, Celestite Gray Metallic, Classic Silver Metallic, and Super White.

The 2021 Corolla Hybrid is powered by the same powertrain in one of Toyota's most popular hybrids: the Prius. This sedan has a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors with 1.3-kWh battery packs. All these components combine for 121 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque.

The Corolla Hybrid comes standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission, along with 3 drive modes: Normal, ECO, and Power. These drive settings optimize the hybrid's performance, improving driving efficiency and acceleration. Further, the powertrain transitions seamlessly from electric to gas power in this hybrid. Should the battery have enough of a charge, the 2021 Corolla Hybrid can creep along at low speeds with only electric power.

The Corolla Hybrid has regenerative braking, which restores the battery while you're driving. Its suspension also delivers a controlled ride as it absorbs road bumps without rocking the passengers.

The five-seater 2021 Corolla Hybrid comes with premium cloth upholstery, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a four-way manually adjustable passenger seat, and automatic climate control. A universal garage door opener is also available. In addition, this sedan has great visibility thanks to low windows and unobtrusive side pillars.

Back-seat riders have a comfortable amount of legroom, 34.8 inches, to easily stretch their legs. The rear seats fold down, providing you with additional trunk space for when you're planning to transport longer items!

For infotainment, the Corolla Hybrid offers an impressive collection of user-friendly technology features. These include an 8-inch touch-screen display, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster display, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, two USB ports, a six-speaker stereo system, and satellite radio. The car also adds Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and the recently added Android Auto.

Toyota is known for its impressive safety features, and the 2021 Corolla Hybrid builds on that reputation! It combines the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite and a few more standard features to help keep you and your passengers safe. Some of these are automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-departure warning, and traffic sign recognition.

The Corolla Hybrid also offers two complete sets of LATCH connectors in the rear outboard seats and a tether anchor for the rear middle seat. For the 2021 model year, Toyota added blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert as available options.
