2022 Toyota GR Supra

The entry-level Supra 2.0 has 18-inch alloy wheels, auto-leveling LED headlights, chrome exhaust outlets, and keyless entry. The 3.0 adds to this with adaptive suspension dampers, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, brushed stainless steel exhaust outlets, a front strut tower brace, and Brembo four-piston brakes. Taking a step up to the 3.0 Premium will add to all this with larger rear brakes and several upgrades in the cabin. The new A-91-CF Edition will feature 19-inch matte black wheels and red Brembo brake calipers. It will also have a woven carbon fiber front splitter and the same carbon fiber for the side rockers and duckbill rear spoiler.

Power for the Supra 2.0 comes from a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder gas engine with 255 horsepower. The 3.0 models and the A-91-CF both get a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo engine that puts out 382 horsepower and generates 368 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission works with both the four-cylinder and the six-cylinder.

The Supra benefits from a suspension and chassis designed to test winding roads at high speeds. The base engine has plenty of punch for most drivers, but the six-cylinder can get you from zero to sixty in a short four seconds. The A91-CF Edition is also quick, with its aerodynamic additions adding to the downforce and thus making it more stable.

The racing-inspired cockpit of the Supra features faux-leather covered sport seats, carbon-fiber interior trim elements, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The 3.0 adds 14-way power-adjustable seats, while the 3.0 Premium comes standard with heated seats and full leather upholstery. Inside the new A91-CF Edition, you'll find a red and black interior, leather and Alcantara upholstery, power-adjustable and heated seats, and sport pedals.

The technology in the Supra starts with an 8.8-inch center screen, a USB port, Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto, and a four-speaker stereo. Moving up through the lineup can get you a 12-speaker JBL stereo system, a more powerful USB port – and if you have the 3.0 Premium, it comes with wireless charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Every 2022 Supra has advanced safety features. Even the base 2.0 comes standard with a lane-keeping assist system and frontal collision warning with automatic braking, pedestrian detection, and automatic high beam headlights. The Safety and Technology Package is available as an option for the 2.0 and 3.0 models. It adds adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors. The Driver Assist Package is optional for the 3.0 Premium and the A-91 CF models and comes with the same safety equipment.
