2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

There are six different trims to choose from: the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, SE, XSE, and Limited. The LE and the SE feature 17-inch alloy wheels, while all other trims feature 18-inch wheels. The XLE and above also get revised headlamps that help to improve the SUV's overall look and provide additional illumination. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the 2022 RAV4 Hybrid, assisted by two electric motors for a total output of 219 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable automatic transmission is standard. The hybrid is highly efficient and quick, with plenty of power for navigating all kinds of traffic conditions. The electric motors deliver extra pep and make acceleration easier after a full stop.

Five different driving modes are available, offering plenty of versatility. The Eco mode can help you conserve even more gas, while the Sport mode makes gaining speed on an open highway even easier. For driving shorter distances, the EV mode powers the SUV entirely from its special hybrid battery and high-torque electric motor. If you love off-road driving, Trail mode makes gaining traction easier while driving over rugged terrain. For a regular, breezy ride, Normal mode is also accessible.

The RAV4 Hybrid enjoys an above-average cargo capacity, with a wide variety of bins to choose from that makes it easier to store items efficiently. The interior is full of high-quality materials that give it a sleek, clean appearance. A 7-inch touchscreen, fabric-trimmed seats, a tilting and telescopic steering wheel, a height-adjustable false floor in the cargo area, a digital rearview mirror, and automatic climate control are all standard. The XSE trim also adds heated front seats and a heated leather steering wheel for added comfort and style. Ambient interior lighting and upgraded faux-leather upholstery are also available.

The hybrid version of the RAV4 includes several excellent safety features, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, road sign assist, automatic high beams, and adaptive cruise control. The Limited trim also adds front and rear parking assist with automatic braking to help make parking a breeze, even in the busiest of locations. A bird's-eye-view camera is also available on the XSE trim, making backing out and parking easier by providing a real-time view of your SUV's surroundings, along with adaptive pivoting headlights.
