2022 Toyota Sienna

The entry-level Sienna LE comes with LED headlights, power-sliding side doors, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, and LED daytime running lights. Step up to the XLE in order to add LED fog lights, hands-free power-sliding side doors, and a power liftgate. The new Woodland Edition has 18-inch wheels, a black roof rack and crossbars, a tow hitch, and an extra 0.6 inches of ground clearance. Deciding on the upscale and sporty XSE gets you 20-inch wheels, black roof rails, and black exterior trim elements.

You'll get even more equipment with the Sienna Limited. It comes with power-folding side mirrors and chrome exterior trim elements, and then the Platinum trim adds on to this with 20-inch alloy wheels and bi-LED projector headlights.

All Sienna trims and models come standard with a hybrid powertrain. It's made up of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor. Combined, the setup generates 245 horsepower. Front-wheel drive comes standard for all trims except the Woodland. This new model comes standard with all-wheel drive, which you can add as an option to the rest of the trims.

The Sienna offers the driver a raised position and an excellent view of the road. The hybrid powertrain is fuel-efficient, and the van provides a smooth and comfortable ride. The on-demand all-wheel-drive system powers the rear axle when needed to gain extra traction, but uses just front-wheel drive to save fuel when all-wheel drive is not needed. When equipped with the available tow package, the Sienna can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

There's room for up to seven or eight in the Sienna, depending on the trim. Features such as three-zone automatic climate control, second-row sunshades, and a power-adjustable driver's seat come standard; moving up through the available trims adds a power-adjustable passenger seat, leather upholstery, and heated seats. Bump up to the Limited for second-row captain's chairs with extendible footrests or to the Platinum for heated second-row seats and premium leather upholstery.

A 9-inch touch screen comes in the LE, which also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as seven USB ports. Wireless charging comes in the XSE and above, and you can also get navigation and a 12-speaker JBL stereo system. All trims except the LE offer an optional rear-seat entertainment system with an overhead display and two wireless headphones.

Every Sienna comes with advanced driver safety aids. These include forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Platinum adds a 360-degree surround-view camera system and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
