2022 Toyota Venza

This stylish SUV is only in its second model year and retains its sleek, stylish appearance from the previous year, with sharp lines all over and stunning LED daytime running lights. The thick, low grille gives it an especially durable appearance. The slim taillights, dual exhausts, and roof spoiler also add to the SUV's upscale look and the roof design gives it an especially unique, coupe-like appearance not found on similar SUVs.

The base LE trim rides on 18-inch wheels and comes with a chic black rear roof spoiler. The XLE trim and Limited trims add 19-inch wheels, with the Limited offering an electrochromic panoramic roof with a power sunshade. Seven color options are available on all trims, including the distinctive Coastal Gray Metallic for an especially vibrant look in the evening hours.

The Venza is offered exclusively as a hybrid vehicle, with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and three electric motors that produce an impressive 219 horsepower and 206 pound-feet of torque for a powerful, efficient ride. The powertrain comes paired with a continuously variable transmission. One electric motor powers the rear wheels, while the other two power the front wheels to support four-wheel drive. An extra electric motor gives the Venza even more power.

Four-wheel drive comes standard on all 2022 Venzas, and when it's combined with the smooth, reliable transmission, it's clear that this is an SUV that can outperform much of its competition. Steering and handling are smooth and inspire confidence, making a busy commute much easier and more enjoyable. Selectable driving modes make it easy to tailor the Venza's performance capabilities. There's even an EV mode that enables electric-only driving for shorter distances.

The Venza comfortably seats up to five adults, offering plenty of headroom and a huge rear seat. The LE and XLE trims feature cloth upholstery, while the Limited trim adds simulated leather and takes things to the next level with soft-touch interior surfaces, fabric-wrapped windshield pillars, and stylish contrast seat stitching. Ambient lighting adds to the stylish interior and helps accentuate the cabin's best features at night. Heated seats are standard, and the Limited trim adds ventilated seats for extra comfort. The Venza comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.

Plenty of safety features come standard with the 2022 Venza, including Toyota's Star Safety system which features a variety of traction, acceleration, and braking technologies that work together to prevent the SUV from losing control in an emergency situation.
