Trim Levels of the 2024 Toyota RAV4

Practical and good-looking, the 2024 Toyota RAV4 is the compact crossover that can transport people and cargo with efficiency. Whether you need off-road capability, all the tech features, or anything in between, one of the RAV4's six available trims is ready to take it on.

1. LE

The LE is powered by a 203-horsepower, 184 lb.-ft. of torque 2.5-liter engine, matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is also available for improved traction. The Toyota Audio Multimedia system features an 8-inch display and syncs with your smartphone using wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. And to keep you and your family safer on the road, standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 includes six driver assist and advanced safety technologies.

2. XLE

The XLE gets extra convenience, style, and comfort features, like 17-inch alloy wheels and a power-adjustable driver's seat. Dual-zone automatic climate control lets the driver and passengers choose separate temperature settings, and two extra USB ports in the rear (for five total) let rear-seat passengers keep their devices charged. And the XLE also gets a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, letting drivers know when there are nearby vehicles that might be hard to see.

3. XLE Premium

As its name suggests, this model gets even more premium features, like 19-inch metallic-finished alloy wheels, SofTex-trimmed seats, and a power tilt-and-slide moonroof. The included Smart Key System lets you open the front doors and tailgate, or start the engine, without taking your key out of your pocket or purse.

4. Adventure

The RAV4 Adventure gets excursion-ready features and the styling to match, starting with standard Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive, which can distribute power to the right and left rear wheels separately for better traction. Raised roof rails let you carry cargo on top of your RAV4, while a cargo-area 120V/100W AC power outlet lets you access electricity far from home.

5. TRD Off-Road

The ultimate off-road RAV4 is the TRD Off-Road, with a TRD-tuned suspension and 18-inch matte black wheels. It includes many of the Adventure's utility features, like a Multi-Terrain Select dial with Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow, and Normal modes. Inside, this model gets a larger 10.5-inch infotainment display and red interior stitching and accents.

6. Limited

The Limited builds off the XLE Premium's features, and adds styling, convenience, and comfort features, like heated and ventilated front seating. The Toyota Audio Multimedia display gets a larger 10.5-inch size, and the audio is upgraded to an 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio system.

What's Covered Under Toyota's New Car Warranty in 2022?

One great thing about buying a new vehicle at your local Toyota dealer is that you automatically receive a car warranty that will cover many problems you might encounter. But if you're not sure about the specifics of what your warranty covers, you could end up paying for something that you could get fixed for free, or you might go without repairs to try and save money. So, make you're aware of your benefits – check out our handy list below! You'll Get Immediate Benefits One of the best parts of the Toyota warranty is that it goes into effect the moment you buy the car. Some might think that a warranty begins when you do something to put it into effect, but that's thankfully not the case! So, as soon as you pull out of the dealership's lot you can rest easy knowing that you have protection. One thing to keep in mind is that if your car was previously a demo model, the warranty will have begun sooner – your sales associate will be able to let you know if this is the case. more You Have 3 Years of General Coverage Your Toyota warranty will cover you for three years. But there's also a limit of 36,000 miles, so if you typically put a lot of mileage on your cars then you might run out of warranty before the three years are up. This three-year warranty covers any defects that the vehicle may have come with from the factory due to missed quality control, along with any breakdowns that might occur. Additionally, this warranty covers things like radiators, alternators, and entertainment systems. That being said, certain parts of your car will be covered for longer. The Toyota new vehicle warranty includes 60 months or 60,000 miles of coverage for your powertrain, which is your engine, transmission, drive shaft, axles, and differentials; and 60 months of rust-through coverage, which protects you in case any of the vehicle’s sheet metal begins to corrode. And if you're driving a hybrid from 2020 or newer, the battery is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles. Know What Isn't Covered The Toyota warranty is there to protect you from anything going wrong with the vehicle that is the fault of the manufacturer. As such, anything that is considered normal wear and tear for a vehicle is not going to be covered. So, unfortunately, you won't have any coverage if your air filters, oil filters, lightbulbs, hoses, batteries, brake rotors, brake pads, or windshield wipers wear out. Furthermore, you won't have any coverage for things like collisions, vandalism, or neglect. If you have any questions about your warranty benefits, come by Priority Toyota of Chesapeake and we'll be glad to answer them! Aware of all your warranty benefits, you'll be able to drive with peace of mind. 4 Reasons You Should Always Make Your Purchase at an Official Toyota Dealership

If you're looking for a new car, it may feel like you have endless choices to make. The first of these choices is whether to purchase your car from a private seller or go through a dealership. We’ve gathered a few examples of how you benefit from selecting your local Toyota dealership for all your needs. 1. Buying from Your Dealership Is More Convenient If you're looking for a new vehicle, then endlessly scrolling through online listings can feel unbearable. Even when you do find a car you're interested in, it may be far out of your way and a pain for you to get to. more If you go to your official dealership, then everything will be laid out in one convenient location. The process will be much more streamlined, and you don't need to worry about hours spent looking at ad after ad online! 2. You Know You're Getting Quality at a Dealership Dealerships and car manufacturers commit to their customers. They want to make sure you're happy with the products they provide, which is why they strive to always give you the best quality possible. Independent sellers may tell you that the car they're trying to sell you is good quality, but no rules or regulations are keeping them to their word, meaning you may wind up with a car that's much worse quality than you were led to believe it was in. And by the time you find out, it may be too late! 3. Your Dealership Will Provide You with a Warranty Dealers and car manufacturers are proud of what they make, but that doesn't stop the unexpected from happening. If something goes wrong with your vehicle, your dealer will offer you a warranty at the time of purchase to make sure you're kept safe. You're most likely not going to get a warranty when you purchase your vehicle from a private seller. So, unfortunately, if something goes wrong with your vehicle, nothing is covering you or your wallet! 4. The Staff at Your Dealership Are Experts Private sellers may know one or two specifics about the car they're selling you. But you'll rarely be able to classify these sellers as "experts." If you have any brand-specific questions about the vehicle you're buying, you may not be able to get an adequate answer from your private seller. On the other hand, the staff at your local dealership have worked with this brand of car exclusively for years. They know all the ins and outs of their vehicles and will be able to help you find the best model to fit your lifestyle. If you have any questions or concerns, they'll be more than willing and able to answer them. Getting a new car can be an overwhelming experience, but it should be fun and exciting — if you buy from the right place. When you're in the market for a new vehicle, going to a trusted dealer is your best bet. Head down to Priority Toyota Chesapeake today and start looking for your new car today!

Priority Toyota Chesapeake Wins Prestigious National "Best in Town" Award

While many businesses may talk frequently about their commitment to the community, as the saying goes: actions speak louder than words. more Priority Toyota Chesapeake was recently awarded the Toyota Motor Corporation’s prestigious national award, ‘Best in Town’, which is bestowed upon only one Toyota dealership out of the entire United States each year. We are honored by the recognition. Beginning in 2018, the Priority Inmate Technician Training Program has been working with the Norfolk Sheriff’s Department and Tidewater Community College to train non-violent Norfolk City Jail inmates as automobile technicians. Priority Automotive Owner and President Dennis Ellmer emphasized how this collaboration was “a total team effort by many people including Governor Ralph Northam, Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander, Sheriff Joe Baron, and the incredible staff at Tidewater Community College”. 14 of the program’s initial 15 trainees completed the program and graduated from Tidewater Community College in May. All are now full-time Priority employees – and a new class of trainees is ready to begin the program. The ‘Best in Town’ award was established by Toyota Motor Corporation President Akio Toyoda in 2014 and is given to just one United States Toyota dealership each year. The award’s annual recipient is chosen by the people working with local customers every day, the local dealerships. President Toyoda’s explanation for this decision process is “Everyone says Toyota is the best company in the world, but the customer doesn’t care about the world. They care if we are the best in town or not. That’s what I want to be.” "To be the only Toyota dealership in the nation selected to receive this award is truly a great honor," said Dennis Ellmer. "Our company is proud of these men, and proud of this program's ability to help them make a difference in their lives. This award is a win for them, too, along with our entire community." We are honored to have been chosen to receive this distinguished award. We truly believe by working together we can improve the world – one community at a time.
