3. The Hickory Rural Community Market

The carnival-themed Hickory Rural Community Market is a gathering place for local farmers, bakers, artists, and crafters to display their farm-fresh produce, delicious home-baked fare, and hand-crafted wares.
You’ll find anything here, from freshly ground coffee beans, appetizing charcuterie boards, delicious home-baked cakes, bread, cupcakes, and cookies to indigenous plants, cut flowers, and soy candles. The vibrant market has no set prices, and you are welcome to haggle with friendly vendors.

The Hickory Rural Community Market is at the Hickory Ruritan Club at 2752 South Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake and is held every other Saturday from June to October between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
