Trim Packages
2019 trim packages for the RAV4 included the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, and Limited. For the 2020 model year, the RAV4 lineup will also include the TRD Off-Road trim package. The TRD Off-Road is perfect for those that prefer the road less taken. The TRD can handle even the most challenging terrain thanks to its dynamic torque-vectoring all-wheel drive and Multi-Terrain Select system. Multi-Terrain Select maximizes your traction on a multitude of surfaces including mud, sand, rocks, dirt, and snow. The TRD Off-Road also includes all-terrain tires and a unique off-road suspension system.
Engine
The engine for the 2020 RAV4 is a carry-over from the 2019 model year. Both models include a 203-horsepower 2.5-liter I-4 engine, which provides 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. A hybrid engine is also available in both the 2019 and 2020 model years.
Smartphone Integration
The 2019 RAV4 included Apple CarPlay as well as Amazon Alexa, and offered Entune 3.0. In addition to those features, the 2020 RAV4 includes Sirius XM satellite radio and Android Auto. The 2020 model also comes with a 7-inch touch screen, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and keyless entry. While high-end RAV4 models include integrated navigation, every 2020 RAV4 is equipped with a Scout GPS link. The Scout GPS link connects to your smartphone and displays both a map and directions on your touch screen.
Safety Features
Both the 2020 and the 2019 RAV4 come standard with Toyota Safety Sense, a safety suite that includes features such as lane departure warning with steering assist. The 2020 RAV4 model includes such systems as Road Sign Assist, and Lane Tracing Assist, which is a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. These safety measures further prove Toyota’s commitment to keeping their drivers and passengers as safe as possible while enjoying the supremely pleasant ride of the RAV4.
