AT&T presents the Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival in its 13th year of celebrating the fruit of the vine. The location, Town Point Park, sits along the waterfront in downtown Norfolk. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, enjoy food, specialty items, and of course, wines from more than 200 vendors. Wine samples are available until 4:30 p.m. All the varieties you’ll find for tasting can be purchased on site by the bottle or by the case so find a favorite and stock up. The Great Dismal Swamp offers multiple trails you can either use for hiking or biking. The Washington Ditch Trail is the most popular trail for hiking and biking. It is a 4.5-mile dirt road that goes to Lake Drummond where it then switches to a 0.75-mile boardwalk by the water. The Railroad Ditch Trail also runs to Lake Drummond, but from a different entrance point. This gravel road is 6 miles long and connects to a different set of boardwalks.
