A Closer Look at the 2019 Toyota Yaris

If you're looking for a subcompact sedan, take a good look at the 2019 Toyota Yaris. It's a small car with big car features and is better equipped than many of its competitors! Available trim levels are L, LE, and XLE, and here are some of the features that should grab your attention. Exterior Styling The bold styling of the Yaris features the distinctive deep, wide honeycomb grille and the smooth lines of the streamlined profile. The chrome exhaust tip gives the rear more of a sporty attitude. L-trimmed models sit on 15-inch steel wheels and offer headlamps with integrated signature daytime running lights (DRL), color-keyed door handles and power side mirrors, and combination tail lamps. LE models feature 16-inch split-spoke alloy wheels with a gunmetal finish, fog lamps, heated mirrors with turn signals, and a rear decklid spoiler. The top-of-the-range XLE adds rain-sensing wipers and automatic LED headlamps with LED DRL. more Interior Design The spacious contemporary cabin seats five people in comfort, while the deceptively roomy trunk provides 13.49 cubic feet of cargo. The L trim offers premium cloth contoured sports seats with 60/40 split-folding rear seats and a six-way adjustable driving seat. Interior features include chrome accents, air conditioning, cruise control, push-button start, and a tilt and telescoping steering wheel with cruise and audio controls. The LE trim adds a smart key system with remote door lock and unlock and trunk release. Stepping up to the XLE gets you a leather-bound steering wheel and shift knob, automatic climate control, and simulated leather seating with stylish contrast stitching. Infotainment System The infotainment system has smartphone integration, Bluetooth wireless technology with voice control for audio streaming and hands-free functions, two USB ports, and a six-speaker sound system with MP3 connectivity and satellite and HD radio. Control is via the remote commander knob or the 7-inch touch screen, which incorporates an integrated navigation system along with the rear camera. Power and Performance Powering the Yaris is an energetic 106-horsepower 1.5-liter direct-injection engine producing 103 pound-feet of torque. Power is transferred to the front wheels by a six-speed manual transmission with a short-throw for quick shifting. Alternatively, opting for the available slick-shifting six-speed automatic with sport mode gives you a fun, yet fuel-efficient performance. The suspension is tuned for agile handling and a smooth ride, while the direct feel of the steering lets you know that you're in control and gives you confidence turning into corners. Whether you're running local errands or heading out on the twisty back roads, The Yaris delivers a lively driving experience! Safety Features An advanced airbag system offers passenger protection with its overhead curtain, side, and front airbags. The standard active safety system features ABS with brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, a brake override system, electronic stability control, and traction control.
