Some of the amenities available for visitors include kayak and canoe launches, picnic areas, a lookout tower, and interpretive trails.

3. Oak Grove Lake Park

Offering public access to a photogenic lake and plenty of beautiful landscapes, Oak Grove Lake Park is another excellent destination for photographers and nature lovers. Located just four miles east of downtown Chesapeake, this beautiful park can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car via route US-13 and Battlefield Boulevard. This park is open every day of the year from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
