The 2020 Toyota Corolla is available in seven different trim levels: the L, LE, Hybrid LE, SE CVT, SE (6MT), XLE, and XSE. A 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine powers the L, LE, and XLE trims. It creates 139 horsepower and 126 pound-feet of torque. The engine steps up to a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder block for the SE CVT, SE 6MT, and XSE trims. These trims create 169 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid LE runs with a 1.8-liter hybrid ECVT engine that produces 121 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque.
All six standard trims include a 13.2-gallon fuel tank. The fuel tank on the hybrid is 11.4 gallons.
Performance
All seven trims are front-wheel drive vehicles. The transmissions vary between models. The L, LE, and XLE run a continuously variable transmission with intelligence and Shift Mode. The SE CVT and XSE trims use a Dynamic-shift Continuously Variable Transmission with first gear launch. If you choose the hybrid trim, it uses an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. The SE (6MT) trim includes a six-speed intelligent manual transmission.
Infotainment
The infotainment system in the Corolla keeps you informed and entertained no matter how crazy the traffic on the bridges and interstates get. Easily view your infotainment information on the standard eight-inch display screen. Use the screen to access your apps, audio, and phone.
