FlowersFamily reunions can be great fun – amazing food, family, and catching up on life. However, if you want to add a little flair to your next gathering, we’ve found four of the best things you can do in Norfolk for your next family reunion.

  1. Cruise it Out!

Consider hosting your event on a cruise ship, such as the Spirit of Norfolk which operates on the River Elizabeth. This cruise liner can accommodate up to 350 people and is a one-stop all-inclusive package with dining, sightseeing, and live DJ entertainment all in one! This is perfect if you don’t want the hassles of having to deal with multiple caterers. Group packages can be arranged by contacting the liner directly.

SushiYama Sushi

Yama Sushi is located at 109 Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake and has been open since 2003. The sushi chefs at Yama are very creative, as they have over 30 specialty sushi rolls on the menu. If you love seafood, try the delicious Yama Roll, which includes lobster, eel, crab, scallop, shrimp tempura, green masago, and avocado. If you’d rather have more fish, go for the Rainbow Roll, which has tuna, salmon, white fish, yellowtail, and shrimp all inside of a California Roll.

Yama also offers sushi dinners. If you’re out with a group and are feeling hungry, you can split the Yama Titanic, which is a sushi boat that comes with 15 pieces of sushi, 15 pieces of sashimi, and two specialty rolls. You can also do dinners of just sushi or sashimi in quantities of nine, 13, and 18.

2018 Toyota TundraThe 2018 Tundra boasts an aggressive styling, a handsomely finished interior, and lackaccented 20‐in alloy wheels. The American assembled unit bears the pride of an entire nation like a champ. If you own, have ridden in or driven one of these full‐size pickup trucks then you would be familiar with some if not most of its specs. You may have noticed or learned that the regular cab is no longer available, and that the Pro trim has been discontinued. It’s pretty hard to have missed the spacious rear seats and userfriendly infotainment system.

It takes time and some diligence to learn everything about a unit, so there are a few things that may have skipped your notice. Your Priority Toyota Chesapeake dealership has you covered. We want you to learn all there is about your truck so that you can enjoy the Tundra experience to the maximum. A little extra knowledge can make a big difference in how you enjoy and maintain your ride. A true king of the road, the Tundra 2018 was built to be second to none.

Toyota WheelHow Often to Rotate Tires

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recommends rotating your tires every 5,000 miles for safety reasons. For more specific instructions for your specific make and model of car, there is information in your owner’s manual.

To make it easy, many experts recommend getting your tires rotated when you have your oil changed. However, if you have an older car that requires more frequent changes or don’t drive more than 10,000 miles a year, you might not need to rotate your tires that much. Typically, both oil changes and tire rotation can happen every six months. However, some car models like BMW only need oil changes every 15,000 miles, which is far too long to wait for a rotation.

FallSandy Bottom Nature Park

Sandy Bottom Nature Park used to be a garbage dump, but it has been reclaimed by nature. The park offers 456 acres of nature that includes Sandy Bottom Lake, wetland marshes, and hiking trails. There are 11 hiking trails that span a distance of about 12 total miles. The longest trail, Trillium, does a loop around the entire park. It allows you to view leaves changing in the forest, birds in the wetlands, and both Crystal Lake and Sandy Bottom Lake on its 3.3-mile length.

If you want to take a shorter hike, try the Lake Trail, which is only 0.75 miles. It does a circle around the smaller Sandy Bottom Lake. If you want to wander, you can explore Big Beech, Red Fox, and Fallen Oak, all of which connect to each other and end up back at the parking area.

This program acts as our lifetime guarantee on any car you buy from us. Intrigued? Read on to learn how this program can benefit you if you choose a car from us.

1. Avoid Paying for an Oil Change Again

Oil changes are essential for keeping your car running smooth. Unfortunately, taking your car to a mechanic twice a year is not only cumbersome but expensive. With the national average price of an oil change hovering around $46, that’s nearly $100 a year that you could be putting toward something else.

We’d love to help you pocket that cash, which is why we’ll change your oil and filters for as long as you own your vehicle. Schedule an appointment time with our technicians and drop your car off for a quick maintenance session.

Toyota Chesapeake, VAHave you ever wondered why Toyota makes the most reliable cars in the world?

Making cars that top the lists of safest and most reliable cars year after year is no easy feat. And yet, Toyota has managed to do this for eight decades straight. What exactly is their secret? How are they able to consistently produce award-winning cars every year? Here are the top five things that set Toyota apart from other car manufacturers.

1. Significant Investment in R&D

Toyota is notorious for the copious amounts of money they spend in Research and Development (R&D). In fact, according to their website, they spend in excess of $1.1 million every hour in their attempts to better understand how to make cars as safe as possible. This is why they are not afraid to pull cars like the Scion tC off the market if they believe the car doesn’t meet the basic crash safety features.
